Technology driven :
This is a high-tech control room and management system that uses advanced technology. It includes tools like telephones, the internet, and video conferencing. The system is powered by Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning. The entire technology setup was developed in-house with the assistance of NIC at no cost. The physical infrastructure was quickly established in one of the ministry’s unused rooms.
Network Control Rooms
As part of the system, a network of control rooms has been set up following a Hub & Spoke Model. The main control centre, called the Hub, is located in the Secretary MSME’s office in New Delhi. The Spokes, which are connected to the Hub, are established in different offices and institutions of the MSME Ministry in various states. Currently, there are 66 control rooms at the state level that have been created and are operational. These control rooms are connected through video conferences and also have access to the Champions portal. The officers and staff members have received a detailed standard operating procedure (SOP), and they have been deployed and trained accordingly.
